Today I attended the regular monthly meeting at the USA-Baldwin Campus Admin Bldg. in Fairhope, AL. We had a great meeting with two new guests attending. We discussed facebook Fan pages for Businesss and Tweeter. Nerxt meeting is April 15, 2010. Everyone is welcome to attend.
On March 17, 2010, I was fortunate to attend The Baldwin County Realtors Assn. sponsored training session at the Fairhope office. The course for 3 hours continuing education credit was taught by Don Jones. The topic was 10 Tech Tools, which included Facebook, websites and blogs. This was a good basic introduction to social media marketing. It was well-attended and the attendees seemed enthusiastic about the material presented. I recommend this course for all Baldwin County Realtors.
There are 4 fairly simple methods for any small business to use Social Media to increase communications with their existing and potential customers:
1) Facebook Fan Page
2) Twitter account
3) Local Business Listings & Networks
>Google Business Listing
4> Business Blog
Each has advantages. None are extremely time-consuming if you are focussed. After the inital setup, maintaining all 4 So-Me methods may take up to one hour/day, and will make you a So-Me Superstar!
